Sorry I wasn't around yesterday but ended up working - and it was all sxcanning/uploading files, so my bad eye was fairly sore by the time I had finished, so I decided not to turn on the computer at home.

Today clinic was good ... busy (even though we had 1/3 of them as no-shows) ... but as it was busy the morning went rapidly.  However I still managed to get time to pop across the corridor to get my Covid jab.

Now I have done some basic shopping, and am here for a bit.  I do want to phone Auntie Mary if I can, but I also have to get some icons made, as well as some more photos edited and posted.

So, ...

18 – Read an Ebook Day: Are you partial to ebooks? What are some advantages of ebooks over other formats? What sort of ereader do you use -- kindle, kobo, tablet, other? Are there some types of books that really don't work as ebooks?
Oh, my Kindle is always around - in fact I have 2 (as my old one still works and is in my work bag)

19 – Talk Like a Pirate Day: Do you have a favourite book, film, or TV show about pirates?
Come on, who doesn't like Pirates of the Caribbean ... mind you, there is also Captain Pugwash -

Right, photos soon x

Icons etc

This set of icons is made for round 8 of [livejournal.com profile] gen10in30 and the theme is Spring. I still used screen caps, from Star Trek Voyager and from Stargate Atlantis ... enjoy

1 2 3 4 5
1(22) 2 3(20) 4(17) 5(10)
6 7 8 9 10
6(5) 9(11) 8 7(7) 10(8)

As ever, all are snaggable, but credit would be appreciated. The credits are available over at my icon journal - [livejournal.com profile] d4s_icons

So, finishing those off, as well as the night before catching up with me meant I never did catch up with you all in the end yesterday ... I will try to do better later!!

Clinic was another good morning, although we ended up with 2 no-shows.  Maya still isn't learning and have tried to keep my patience with her, but it does get frustrating.  I am in for the next couple of mornings as well, but she is in another clinic, so it will be less stressful even if the patients themselves cause problems!

I don't think I told you that Tim tested positive over the weekend, and apparently yesterday ended up seeing a paramedic.  He is still at home and is having treatment that means that this morning he is feeling a little bit better.  I liked getting that positive text, but I then received a text from Brenda that her routine screening tested positive this morning ... so the family is falling apart.  Hopefully neither will be ill long, and won't pass on the bugs to other members of their families ... we were planning to all be together on Easter Day, so we shall now wait and see about that.

Now I have shopping to do so will head out, but before that -

6. What songs do you know only the chorus to?
Bizarrely I often find myself humming "Daisy, Daisy" ... what most people don't realise is that it is a chorus of a song, and no, I don't know those words.

See you later (I hope)

Still No Photos

I took a few last frieday and didn't get them sorted, so that is a task for soon ... and then posting, hopefully soon!

Hope you all had a good weekend - I had a nice lazy afternoon yesterday, although I also had a text fromTim to say he has tested positive for Covid ... mind you I then got a couple of texts in the afternoon of one happy boy ... his football team scored 5 goals..  Hopefully he will be sensible and sleep/rest ... not go back to work to soon (yes, he is very busy)

Work today was good (well I got home a bit early)  Mind you, one of the pateients we were unable to see, as he was 14 and had come by himself ... yes, a very "sensible" guy ... but the law is the law, and rules are rules.  He was fune, and I heard him phoning his mum who seemed upset (she was at home, so no reason she couldn't have been there!)

I am out this evening for a complete change ... an 80th birthday meal, so that will be nice (no washing up!!), although I do prefer to eat my heavier meal during the day.  However when I am on holiday I eat my main meal in an evening ... just habits, I suppose.

Well ... before I go and sort more photos -

4. Do you have any pets? What are their names? Now, what are the names you actually use for them?
Well you all know that I said Goodbye to Jiffy about 18 months ago ... yes, his name was Jiffy, although I often called him "Little Man", Dad used to call him "Bobbin" and Mum called him "Jiff-Odle"

Well that's me up to date - won't be able to catch up with you today ... a job for tomorrow x

2 Years On

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022 04:55 pm
debris4spike: (Default)
Yes, we are now 2 years into Covid ... 2 years ago we went into lockdown, and suddenly a new set of phrases, a new way of life arrived.

NHS staff were asked to take a moment to think & remember those who have been lost, and those who have fought, and continued to fight.

So, 2 years later there have been a lot of changes, but yet in some way nothing has changed ... plagues have exsisted throughout history. Hopefully we will learn some lessons, and be able to move on.

Anyway, yesterday was lovely - I will post a couple of photos another time as they were on Tim & Claire's phones. We had a really lovely evening celebrating Mum & Dad ... and laughing (and eating!!). Tomorrow it is their 32nd wedding anniversary, so it was nice to be able to wish them a good day. They have the day off work, and as the weather looks good they are planning a nice day out.

Work was OK, although I really feel I am going to strangle the girl I am training ... she doesn't listen, of if she does she ignores what she is told!!!!!! However to make things "better" we had 2 computers in use, and one suddenly decided to translate the peoples names (and only their names) into Korean ... odd! I re-entered the names, as Maya was "busy", and they stayed in English ... very odd!

Tomorrow afternoon I am going to see Toni & Pete ... so won't be around ... thus 2 days ....

23. Do you think the convenience of technology is worth the loss of privacy that comes with it?
No - there you are, nice easy answer!

24. What is the worst smelling place you've been to?
One or two of the patients that I nursed who were very poorly/sick/passing diarrhoea ... all at the same time!

Catch up on Friday x

London 2021 #6

Back in 1986 Tim & I went to a service at St Paul's Cathedral to celebrate the 450th anniversary of our school. As Nick wasn't able to go, we were able to sit under the dome, as we had 2 ex-students with 20 years of attendance. I do remember one of the questions was ... where will you be at the 500th?

Anyway, St Paul's was one of the places I visited when I was in London ... here is a small sample of that amazing Church, which is stunning, but also very much a working Church.

As I went on a free guided tour I got to see a couple of places that are normally closed - so well worth doing if you ever get a chance to visit.

I do think that my osteopath thinks he can "kill" my injured muscles ... payback for all the times I have made my patients in the past sore!  I wonder how much he has been bribed!  However, although painful, he is pleased that the foot/ankle is more stable this week than in the past treatments, so he was actually very positive.

So, good news - but the leg is still sore!

Work yesterday was good again, with another early finish, but today it was an OK clinic .... with a normal finish time.  In the gaps between tests I was able to get my on-line training up to date, so that was positive.  Pre Covid I used to spend a full day in classrooms doing on the mandatory training.  Now the only classroom training is the annual resuscitation, and bi-annual health & safety.  So, now I am up to date until my resuss which is not due until May ... yay!

My letter writing plans of Monday didn't get done, so I need to do some of that. I also am trying to sribble a story for [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy ... so must see if I can get my brain around that.    I have a couple of WIP's, as well, that I would like to get back to at some point ... but the brain fog really doesn't help me with that.  A couple of the exercises my specialist has given me are meant to help with them ... but I do find them almost impossible to do.  Hopefully practice will make perfect!

So, here I am, all caught up again, but before I go

26. Do you struggle with dry skin in the winter?
No

27. Have you ever gotten angry at an employee and complained to the manager?
No.  Maybe it's because I have always worked with the general public (my first shop work was at 16), and realise that most of the time it is "not their fault"
debris4spike: (Default)
Yes, sorry Mum, but I bought some mince pies today!  For Mum, mince pies were what we had from Christmas Eve to 12th night.  Mum used to make them and my memory of them is special.  She made beautiful pastry ... in fact she was an amazing cook.  Last year, nearer to Christmas I made my own which was nice, but seeing these on sale today, I just had to bow to temptation!

Work was actually good for a change, and we finished a bit early so I went and got my flu jab on the way home.  I had my Covid a few weeks ago, and now work is giving both on the same day.  So I confused the system!  Still it's done.  I had asked at my doctors last week when I was passing, but bizarrely they aren'r doing flu jabs this year.  Seems totally ironic given what is going on!  So far the arm feels OK, so hopefully that will continue. - I have had flu jabs for about 20 years now and (so far) never had a problem.

I have an appointment tomorrow with my osteopath for my ankle injury ... and am glad of that as over the last couple of days one of the damaged muscles is really sore.  However, the other one seems to be OK, so that's a positive point.

Well I have loads of letters I must write, so will sign off here ... well, after -

25. Do you own/wear any jumpsuits?
No!
debris4spike: (Default)
Sorry

Thursday work went well ... until the last patient arrived who argued and questioned every point of the test. Oh well, it takes all sorts to make a world!

In the afternoon I drove out to the local Covid centre, and had my booster jab. So I am allup to date again. I need to wait a bit then I can get my flu jab. By the time I had that done, waited the 1/4 hour and then got home (but we were all given a glass of water and biscuits!), it was a bit later than I had realised and I had a lot of ironing to do ... so LJ got abandoned. Sorry

Yesterday I picked up Christine on the way and we went to another National Trust stately home, this time in Plymouth (photos to come ... but probably next week). My ankle coped well with the drive and the walking so that was good news.

Now we are bck on Saturday ... walked to Tesco's this morning as I normally do on a Saturday. It's chaos there as everything has been moved as they are extending the building, but not closing at all, so it means that at the moment things are a bit more compressed. So nothing is where it was.

Now I need to make a few icons, sort out the photos from Saltram, and then disappear until Monday .... but before I vanish -

23. What is a meme or picture you’ve seen recently that has made you laugh?
My third cousin and I exchange pictures & you tube links etc ... this one was a recent one -
unnamed(1)

24. Have you ever bought something recommended by an ad on social media before?
No

25. How often do you go to the beach?
Not all that often, even though I only live about 7 miles away.

26. Do you ever look up actors you think you recognize in movies and shows?
Yes, Wikepedia is handy - I sometimes like to know what other things they have been in. Or, how old they were when they died etc

#3 Booked

Yes, work this morning - and a really nice clinic ... all turned up, 4 of the 5 were lovely, and I got home early - so a truly win-win morning.

Then I had a text from the NHS so have booked Covid booster jab for Thursday, and hopefully I won't get any reaction (I haven't for the previous 2)

So now it's the afternoon and I am being a good girl and not having a walk (in fact a doubly good girl as I have done my exercises as well!), so hopefully carrying on like that will help to stabalise my ankle.

Well photos & icons are calling ... but ...

21. Do you usually have to wear a belt with your pants?
Try not to, as they really pull on my back

And, So Bye ....

Saturday, September 4th, 2021 02:55 pm
debris4spike: (Default)
Sorry, yesterday got away from me!  I had Christine coming over and we were going to a National Trust property (photos to come at some point) again ... and yes, that was a really lovely day, and as it was OK weather-wise we did a long walk in the grounds so I was late getting home.

However the plan had been to pop in before I went ... but as I have mentioned I am off on holiday tomorrow.

I am going to Jersey ... I have added the Wikipedia link so my non-UK friends know where I am talking about!

As it's an island they are really doing a good job of keeping track of Covid.  So I had to "fill in a form" on the internet ... and it ended up 10 pages long!  Wow, there were some odd questions which took me ages to find answers for (postcode of hotel), date of my Covid jabs etc ... details seem to be in assorted places, so it took me ages to fill in.  So, I lost time and didn't have to pop in here.  Anyway the good news is that we all have to be double-jabbed and we all have to have a test wehn we arrive (at the island's expense).  So I am very impressed with how things are being kept as safe as possible.

Now I have other things to do - including making some chutney.  I know, odd!  But I grew some tomatoes and there are are loads that are still green, and the leaves are beginning to survive so they won't be allive in a week's time.  So I have dug out mum's recipe .... but, as ever, before I disappear for a week -

3. What is one of your favorite comedy movies?

I love a couple of the Carry On films ... Up The Khyber & Cleopatra especially.
I love some of the Cary Grant films .... like Bringing Up Baby & Operation Petticoat

4. Do you have a crush on anyone that you haven’t really talked to before?

Does James count - I get tongue-tied when I have briefly met him

5. What is your least favorite sour patch kids color?

Never had them

6. Have you ever won a competition? If so, what was it and what did you win?

A Lego competition, when I was 10. I won a box of Lego

7. Did you ever take classes for a musical instrument when you were younger?

Ummm - yes & no! I went to clarinet lessons for a few weeks, but never practiced. I learnt as I got older, but basically was self-taught as an adult.

8. How often do you walk around barefoot?

Used to all the time. But the day before my 21st I had an accident, and now I need to wear a heal-lift at all times, so other than pottering round the house I can't do it for very long any more.

9. What architectural style was your childhood home?

1930's ..... Tudor style decoration on the outside.

10. Who do you usually say hello or good morning first?

Whoever is the first person I bump into.

11. When was the last time you visited the park? Who did you go with?

There is a park near me that I usually walk through on my daily exercise.

12. What language did you take in high school?

French - and failed

13. Have you ever been to a drive-in theater?

No

So that's me up to date ... and now I really need to skim through your posts, before heading back down to the kitchen.

I will try to get your comments answered this evening - but can't guarantee that, so if time runs out I am sorry ... I will answer them when I get back, I promise.

So - I'm off now ... and will be back on the 14th (I hope).  I hope that you all have a good 10 daysand keep safe & happy ... bye, see you soon

5 Years On ....

debris4spike: (Default)
Where do the days go?

Dad was called Home 5 years ago, and in so many ways it seems like yesterday.

97319261-27f0-461d-add4-1a6c9fb1ea9a_zpsl9hrh6gk

I love these photos with him ... we were meant to be getting a nice photo of the 2 of us, but to get him to smile we started teasing him, and then he and I got the giggles. I am so glad the photos were captured.

I miss him (and Mum) very much, however over the last 18 months I have actually said that I am glad they have died as they would never have coped with Covid at their ages.

Today's clinic went well ... and again they were nice men. So, all in all, a really nice week. I have gone to the cemetery this afternoon as well, so all in all a good day, so far!

Now I really need to start thinking about the clothes I need to pack for my trip. I leave on Sunday, adn so far the weather forecast is not great ... as I am actually flying it means I need to be able to pack sensibly, rather than my last few trips where I have taken the car and can throw in whatever I want, as well as the actual packed case!

But, as ever -

2. Have you ever had any teeth pulled?
Yes - quite a few. The last was a couple of years ago I had a Wisdom Tooth removed. Just after Dad died I lost a front tooth (stress!) ... and did wonder if I was going to lose another tooth earlier in the year after losing Jiffy. (And 4 or 5 others)
debris4spike: (Default)
Isn't it?

This morning I walked out my front door to put some things in the bin, and noticed the bush as I walked past.  And. it actually occured to me that if I got the camera then I really could get a half-decent photo ...

10th_July_(1)
If I had left it any longer, with the breeze we had the flower would have been dry again.  A nice image, but not quite as stunning as I actually managed to capture.

So, go me!!!

I did my walk to the shop, and bought some bits & pieces, and once home did a bit of housework, lunch, another small walk ... and here we are.

I shall do some icons (if my brain feels OK), and then try to sort out some further details of my upcoming trip to The Lake District.  Yes, it's a Christian Convention that I am going to, and will admit I am (pleasantly) suprised that it is still going ahead.  I have to take a day out, and am only going to the morning sessions ... so will be doing some sight-seeing while there.  This convention has been running for years, and was a trip that Dad used to do pre-marriage.  Mum went on the one year that they had met, and it was a "decide whether they were going to work things out, or not" sort of holiday ... and yes, they stayed in different hotels!!  They went back about 25 years ago with friends, and I always said I would go.  I had planned to do so last year, but Covid had other plans!

So that's my plan for today ... tomorrow is Church, of course ... and then England is in the EUROs final ... so plenty of things to do ... but as ever -

10. Did your parents live in a different country before you were born?
No, although they movced to a different one when I was 3 months old!  (and back again when I was almost 6)

11. What's something you've experienced that very few others have?
Does going to a dog's funeral count ... as most people don't have a proper service for their pet.  Although there was only myself, and the "undertaker", Jiffy had a proper funeral, including a Bible reading & a small eulogy.
I have done cross-country eventing on a horse ... at a low grade, but the rules still counted.

Hope you all have a good weeked ... and "Good Luck England"  (sorry for any Italians out there!

Another Special Day ....

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021 04:48 pm
debris4spike: (Default)
And I still haven't arrived at my birthday!

I met my best friend (& husband) late morning in Okehampton (about 50 mins drive away).

Nothing special you think - but for me I knew what a treat it was as it's literally the first time they have been in a shop since the start of the pandemic 15 months ago.  Toni is an amazing friend, but she does have a lot of assorted stresses.  Covid has really hit her hard, as her husband is 20 years older than her, & had a heart attack 20 years ago.  So a drink with them at a supermarket, and the sausage & chips from a take-away meant so, so much ... even if she did make me wear a "60" badge!!

After lunch we drove up onto Dartmoor and the 3 of us had a walk .... and guess who had left her camera in my car.  I hadn't realised we were going somewhere.  I live in a beautiful part of the world.  We have promised to go back for more walks (she has even said she may bring the horses another day)

So a simple few hours, but so special for me.

From there they headed home, and I went to visiit Okehampton Castle ( that was started in 1068).  I haven't had time to get the photos sorted out, so will post them in a couple of days.

I am not going to over-push myself as I have plans over the next 2 days!  But beware that you will then get photo-bombed!  I have exercises to do for my leg injury, so must get on.  Sorry I won't have time to check through what you have posted ... but hope to get a chance later.  As ever, though -

23. Do you have any dietary restrictions?
I am allergic to butter, and semi-skimmed/skimmed milk. Although I can eat cheese & cream (although if too much clotted cream is involved I am not happy!) It's a weird allergy, but have lived with it all my life, so don't get caught out too often.
And, I don't like fish!
debris4spike: (Default)
I have decided that I really have to go and visit Auntie Joyce (Dad's sister ... thus the icon I am using!).  That's been one advantage of being ill, and then of lockdown, I have had genuine reasons for not doing the trip.  It's a long trip (and will be my first "push" of my health), but the main problem is the lady herself ... she has always been the same, so going for an overnight trip like this is the easier way of doing things.  The last few times I have been I have had Jiffy so have had the excuse to take him for a walk to "escape".  Still, I suppose now she is 94 she can be excused some of her problems (trouble is she has been like it since a child!!)

But the trip means I will be off-line, and the other side is that if I don't go now the Lockdown may return.

This morning's clinic was nice & easy ... one cancelled the day before, one no-show, one who didn't actually need the appt ... leaving 2 people. So, plenty of time to read my book! Although it was also my turn to do the cleaning of the waiting area, door handles, etc. (Something we now do at lunchtime since the start of Covid)

The rest of this afternoon I need to get some ironing done ... and also scan some photos.  I am going to Nick & Brenda's (pandemic permitted) the weekend before my birthday and she wants me to bring some photos of my 18th, 21st, etc birthdays.

But, as ever -

10. What temperature do you keep your thermostat set to during the winter?
I keep it cool now Jiffy has passed away ... I prefer to wera an extra layer, and save some money!

11. Have you ever had surgery?
I had my retina repaired back in December 1988. (This is why I am slowly losing my sight in that eye)
December 2006 the hospital thought I would have to have surgery on my damaged hand (where I had de-gloved the finger), but good First Aid, and treatment in A&E meant I was saved that surgery.

12. When you were growing up did your family move around a lot?
We moved when I was 3 months old, and again at 5 1/2 .... but then not till I was 25

13. What browser do you use?
Google Chrome

Right - see you on Monday x

This morning we actually our clinic finished early so I was able to stop for the minutes silence as this is the first official anniversay of Lockdown.  We stopped to remember 126,000+ deaths through Covid, but also so many others who have died of un-related causes, yet have no services,  So many who have suffered in so many ways.  For the first time I am so glad that Mum & Dad are no longer here.  To not be able to visit, to not be able to spend time with them as I did ... I would never have managed it.  For those who have, and continue to suffer in such a way, my heart goes out to you.

Despite having a busy clinic this morning I did disappear for 3/4 hour - so I could get my second Covid injection.  I had #1 12 weeks ago, almost to the minute.  So far, so good.  I didn't have any problems then, so hope today will be the same.  I plan on having a fairly lazy afternoon, although have ironing to do as I washed and hang outside sheets and some clothes before I left for work this morning.  So I need to re-make my bed and get ironing done.

Other than that I aim to do some more icon making.  I have one on-going challenge which is stumping me, so that's good really (well I tell myself that!)

Well before I get on with other things, I will do today's question -

23. Preferred water temperature for showering?

Warm ... closer to hot, than tepid
debris4spike: (Default)
Not doing too badly now ... but not doing too well either! So it's a brief visit, to catch up with questions -

22. What would you change if you knew you could not fail?
I suppose the obvious answer is I would get rid of Covid19 ... that has caused so much sadness, so many changes. So let's back time and stop that from ever happening.

23. If you could get rid of anything on the planet what would it be?

LOL - same answer again! let's get rid of Covid ... and pollution. Well, I got rid of Covid in the previous answer!

And for those who know - yes, I am still a James Marsters fan. Sad to hear that his wife has left him. So hope he will be at peace with that decision.
debris4spike: (Default)
.... Yes, Covid numbers are coming down, Claire & I have both had our injections #1, and Nick "was" booked for today for his, and ....

Yes, Brenda has Covid!

She didn't have classic symptoms, just a bit of a cough, and spoke to her GP about getting a blood test as she is still stuggling with menopause problems.  Her GP hearrd her cough and said she needed testing, and it's come back positive!  Hopefully she will continue with the mild "non" symptoms.  I spoke to her and she sounded as Brenda, as normal.  Her real worry is Nick, as he has quite a few health problems (and is sadly a smoker)

Oh, well, at least everyone will be on alert for him, or my nephews.

On further "bad" news is that I have decided to delay my May holiday to France till next year (as I had to last year).  I am not nervous of travelling, but as I am going to a specific small museum, so want it to be open when I go, as that is the main reason I have booked this trip - to see the Deborah tank So, decided that I want to be sure I get to see this I need to delay things.  All the cemeteries etc will be open, if we can travel, but didn't know about this museum and didn't want to risk it.

As it's raining and I have had a rough week, health-wise I decided not to go for a walk, however still doing the PhotoFriday thingy. I got the inspiration from a question I did yesterday from earlier in the week. ie
        15. When I have a look around my home, it’s very obvious that I…
... love giraffes, and never throw any ornament away. Also, that I owned a Westie

So I have taken a few photos in my lounge to prove the point!

My nest of tables (a friend bought me the frame for Jiffy's picture)

My friend Toni bought me Portious the Christmas that Jaykub died.  He used to sit on my bed at Mum & Dad's, now sits in my lounge.
DSC_0225
A friend drew this for me as a Christmas present ... and, yes, I burst into tears as I opened the gift.  That is my Little Man
DSC_0224

So, not many pictures, but at least I didn't ignore the challenge this week.

So, that's me up to date, and I do hope to catch up with you all later.  But before I disappear I shall do my question -

19. What are the three most dominant emotions in your life right now?

Tiredness
Worry (about N&B)
Frustration (at not being able to get out & about)

Hope everyone is keeping well & safe
debris4spike: (Default)
Yes, I had my Covid injection #1 this morning while at work.  Just before I went one of the senior nurses I work with told me it hurt them.  However mine didn't hurt unnecessarily ... but as I was speaking to the nurse who gave me the jab, we realised that the nurse I work with is male ... so ... yes, you guessed it, men are obviously wimps!!

Anyway, I haven't a date for my 2nd injection yet, but we are assured we will be getting it at some point.  The organisation was brilliant, so hopefully the rest of the innoculation sites are going as well.

So while on-line I shall do the next question -

5. What about your current life situation makes you feel grateful?

I am thankful I have had the jab .... and hopeful that it will be freely available around the world in the months ahead.

I am thankful for a roof over my head, and food on the table - Mum & Dad left me money, so I have that backgroud of safety (and am thankful for them ... and my memories of them)

Well, that's me for today, I think. I may make some icons now.

Hope that you are all keeping well & safe.

Happy New Year - here's hoping and praying that over the coming months we will see see a renewel of safety & freedom. All my holiday plans for 2020 were transferred, so hopefully by the time of the first trip, in May, things will be beginning to get back to normal.

Well, I did see the New Year in last night, although I did "wobble" when I realised that it was the first time I would have no one to wish a Happy New Year to. Oh well, as part of my positive focus I am going to start the year by doing the Snowflake Challenge again -

In some ways my intro is the same as the entry this time last year .... However as those of you who know me realise last year was a tough one for me, not just with Covid, but being ill defore that and my Chronic Fatigue flaring up. Add to that my having to say Goodbye to my little Westie, Jiffy, it was hard.

So I am wanting to re-focus my life ... and this is one of the ways I am going to do it.

So Happy New Year to you all - here's hoping we all get back to normality soon (if I was ever normal to begin with!!)

Group *hugs*

Yes, I was swabbed at 1.30 yesterday and they phoned at 9am this morning.

... And it has come back negative, so back to work tomorrow.

Feeling fine, yet not quite as positive as this time last week, so am going to be more aware - and try to literally do nothing in the afternoons (not that I did much anyway!!)

Hope you are all having a good Father's Day ... missing mine, but will admit since this pandemic started I actually have been pleased neither Mum or Dad have had to cope with all the changes.
