Yes, I had my Covid injection #1 this morning while at work.  Just before I went one of the senior nurses I work with told me it hurt them.  However mine didn't hurt unnecessarily ... but as I was speaking to the nurse who gave me the jab, we realised that the nurse I work with is male ... so ... yes, you guessed it, men are obviously wimps!!

Anyway, I haven't a date for my 2nd injection yet, but we are assured we will be getting it at some point.  The organisation was brilliant, so hopefully the rest of the innoculation sites are going as well.

So while on-line I shall do the next question -

5. What about your current life situation makes you feel grateful?

I am thankful I have had the jab .... and hopeful that it will be freely available around the world in the months ahead.

I am thankful for a roof over my head, and food on the table - Mum & Dad left me money, so I have that backgroud of safety (and am thankful for them ... and my memories of them)

Well, that's me for today, I think. I may make some icons now.

Hope that you are all keeping well & safe.

Please you managed to get the injection. I'm still waiting. They are not handling it well here in the States. I'm in the 1b group. I have to wait a bit for mine. Our county here in TX has run out of supplies. Yes, men tend to be wimps when it comes to shots.

I think this last year has forced us to look a little deeper in our lives. What is important and what we are thankful to have in our lives. I just hope people don't backslide to being so involved in their dramas like they were in the past. Covid-19 has force us to slow down and find out what is truly important in life.

Good for you! Here they are talking about to vaccinate as much as they can and wait for the second vaccination instead of giving everybody the second vaccination first...
Haven't heard if they will go through with it.

I'm so pleased you've had the first jab. I worry about the delay the government seem to be working with for the second, but you should get it. Do you know which sort it was?

So glad you were able to get yours! I haven't a clue when Irish and I will get ours - I'm sure he'll be before me since he's 12 years older, but other than that, nothing. I can't even find a tentative schedule. My niece (a social worker in a nursing home who is frequently client-facing) got her first dose last week and the second is scheduled for the 30th, so I'm glad for her as well.
