Eternal Refuge

Poor Jiffy had to go back to the vets again this morning ... his skin allergy is back ... it's a rare month that doesn't see him going there.  Although it wasn't Marni he enjoyed talking to some other dogs, and reminding his vet of the day that she had forgotten to give him his biscuit!

We went to Nick & Brenda's for the day yesterday ... yet more sitting around and chatting ... and eating toooooo much!

Jiffy wanted to show you his favourite pressie from Santa.

Dad, just before Christmas, finished the draught of his book on The Book of Revelation (in The Bible) ... so I am sitting and proof-reading it this afternoon.



So far, so good!

Had a long, but lovely day yesterday - we went to Tim & Claires to do our belated Boxing Day ... we spread the season by taking off a day in the middle (and helps the tum recover from one, before we eat again!)



btw - I know I haven't done a post and a pic scam about Christmas ... hope to do it over the New Year weekend.  It was fun ... Jiffy especially was super excited.

As you can see I never got a chance on Christmas Eve to give Jiffy his bath ... here he is getting brushed and dried.





And, as he feels the cold, as is still damp, he now has his jumper on!

father Christmas was busy ... and that's before we add the gifts that he left at Tim & Claire's (they arrive just in time for lunch)



Jiffy has his own shelf, as you can see ... Santa obviously knows that he would try to sneak in early.

Well left Exeter this afternoon after work and am back at Mum & Dad's ... which is why I'm catching up with the 366ing.

As you can see my lounge sums up my life - Christmas cards are up, some boxes unpacked ... but still more to do!

Thursday - day off work ... some Christmas shopping. However the day started with the first of my DIY stuff ... all the windows and doors needed re-adjusting. And the lock on the front door needed fully replacing (nothing to do with security ... just that the old one was broken.)  This is the patio doors off the kitchen into my back garden.

Along the main corridors of the hospital is a selection of art work, and slowly this week they are changing them all - look at one I spotted today (near the staires I use the most!)
