Hi
My name is Debris4spike - and as you can guess I love the character Spike, from Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. I have done some fan-fic writing in thepast, as well as making icons.
My other fandoms that I have done icons for are Blakes 7, Star Trek Voyager, Stargate SG1, Dr Who
I tend to be very old-fashioned. And very rarely find a TV series that I can get behind.
I am hoping this month will re-challenge me as I have been missing a bit from fandom.

Date: 2020-01-02 11:46 am (UTC)Spike as a character is amazing ... and James as an actor brings so many layers, doesn't he?

Date: 2020-01-11 04:44 pm (UTC)I tend to basically use LJ still and send the items over to DW so they don't show on the reading list, but just go straight to my account.
Just so you won't actually see me - but I am around!!

Date: 2020-01-22 11:14 pm (UTC)(On an unrelated note, I also just realised that all fandoms I am or have been in, as in creating fanworks and looking for exchange about online, are book-based, no matter that the/some of the books have been also made into films. Not that this has to say anything, it's just that I never realised before. *g* )

Date: 2020-01-23 03:06 pm (UTC)The Debris half also has a reason.
For 20+ years I was in an orchestra and after about 5 years we had a new conductor. When I met him I actually had a bad black eye, (where I had walked into a signpost!!). My name is Deborah, as you know, but some people insist on calling me Debbie. One of the first times Barry spoke to me over anything it was as I was explaining how I had torn the ligament in my knee (!!), and he called me Debbie. I corrected him and he apologized, and said that is what he had been told. I just said, "no worries". He then replied that as accident-prone as I appeared to be, maybe "Debris" would suit me better ... and from then on, that is what he called me.
Yes, I am accident prone, and weird things happen to me, so I used his nickname as part of my username.
