That Was A Fun Weekend

Yes, the shift went well on Christmas Eve ... most people were actually in quite a relaxed mode (which surprised me).
Christmas Day was lovely.
Went to Church in the morning, and nice to wish friends a happy day, and to sing some carols. Not long after I came back Tim & Claire called in ... they were going to her family and stopped here to wish me a Happy Christmas. In the end they stayed about 1/2 hour.
Then I made my dinner ... and actually ate not long after 1pm. I then actually sat and read for a bit (I had planned to go for a walk, but the weather was not great). I then watched the King's speech before seeing what Santa had given me. Then watched some TV, and just as Dr Who finished Auntie Mary phoned to wish me a Happy Christmas ... so, as I said, a lovely day.
I then drove to Nick & Brenda's for Boxing Day ... Dan (nephew #2) was there with his partner for lunch so it was good to catch up. After they left Brenda & I took their dog for a walk, and we did some jigsaw before tea. I was just getting ready to leave when nephews # 3&4 returned ... they had been to their teams away match ... so good to see them, even though only briefly.
I worked this morning, and it was certainly a busy, busy shift (which made the time go rapidly. After dinner, and shopping I am now here, so ...
27 – Make Cut-out Snowflake Day: Have you ever made cut-out snowflakes? How about a string of cut-out paper dolls?
Yes, to both …. But not since I was a pre-teen
I have decided to do the Snowflake Challenge over at DW again. May not do every challenge, but will see what they are all about.

Right, let's get on ... I have some icons to post and then I want to catch up with you all x
