Monday Again

Yesterday I had a day out as I met up with Brenda ... we went to a National Trust property as we are both members.  We had checked the web page and it said it was fully open ... but it turned out the house was only open for short tours ... 4 rooms, only.  So not what we were planning, but it was still nice to see, and even better to spend some time with Brenda.  As ever I took some photos, but haven't got round to looking at them yet ... but hopefully will share a few with you later.

As it's Monday I need to share my A to Z photo ... Week 4 – Jan 19 D is for DOOR

Hard to decide which door, seeing as I have loads.  So decided to pick my freezer door on my fridge-freezer, and yes, like all other metal surfaces I have fridge magnets on it .. memories, gifts, places I have visited, etc

I am also sharing last week's prompt on photo_scavenger which was CLOCK.

Sadly this stopped last year and still haven't managed to get it repaired.
However, it is a very special clock.  It was the wedding present of my Great-Grandfather in the 1880's (and was apparently second-hand at the time), and was given to Mum on his death ... and now it's mine.

Today is a day of "catching up" ... so ...








19. How many pairs of socks do you own?
Don’t think I have ever counted! Quiet a few!

20. How do you keep your photographs? As physical copies or virtual copies on a device? Do you sort them into real/virtual albums?
I have photographs on my computer, and therefore on a “cloud”
I have some printed out, and one of the projects I want to do are “holiday” albums/books of my big holidays.

21. Have you ever made pastry from scratch?
Of course! I have never bought pre-prepared pastry.

I am fairly satisfied with life, really.

However ...

1) I can't make animated icons, so would love one of Stargate Atlantis, with John (& preferably Elizabeth) as well. A couple of years ago I was gifted one of Kathryn & Chakotay from Star Trek Voyager, and still use that a lot.

2) If anyone fancies writing something, I would love a John/Elizabeth fic (SGA), or a Kathryn/Chakotay fic (ST:Voy)

3) I would like someone to read through by BtVS fic to see if it seems OK, which might inspire me to write some more of it.

Day To Tyntesfield

As I said, Brenda and I went to Tyntesfield ... and had a lovely walk round the grounds, as well as seeing a couple of the rooms
