30 Day Photo Meme - Day 2

Way back at the beginning of the year kudagirl  gave me a link to a 30 day photo meme and I posted my first, totally scary picture, here

I had forgotten about it until I saw a similar one on xheartrockx LJ ... so thought I would dig it out again.

Well, here is my washing line with uniforms, my Sunday dress, and the skirt and top I wore on Friday ... as well as other bits & pieces (including undies)

100 Meme - Film # 29

Cary Grant in a swim suit, then scared by the driving of Grace Kelly (which sadly came true in later years) ... what film can I be talking of other than To Catch A Thief

It is worth watching to see the scenery alone ... but add the costumes and a strong story then this film is a true winner. Cary Grant (in case you don't know) plays a reformed jewel thief who is suspected of returning to his former occupation, and must ferret out the real thief in order to prove his innocence.

Cotehele House - Pic Scam

As I reported here on Friday I went to Cotehle house with Christine on Friday and had the added pleaseure of learning about the damage the years bring.  "We" are lucky that the house was abandoned in the 15th century when a new home was built in Plymouth (later bombed) ... this was we get to see the house, and the original hangings etc.  As the family upgraded, the older furnishings were stored at Cotehele, leaving us with a wonderful legacy today.
