TV MEME - Day 12

Todays choice was actually fairly easy ... and was presumably a popular choice overall, as it has been re-filmed. However I am choosing the original.
V, the Mini-series was a V, a 2 part opener and then had 3 episodes for V : The Final Battle.
It was about aliens who arrived on earth, lucking stunning, and offering "peace" :-

Much of the background music, other than the theme was also a winner with me, as it was taken from the last movement of Beethoven's Fith Symphony ... stunning music, and apropriate as the Roman numeral for 5 is V ... and the opening bar's beat is used for the morse code of V ... V for Victory.
