Watcombe Bay - Photos

When I posted the picture on Saturday of the bay we went to near Torquay, called Watcombe I said I would post some pictures of the family - well, behind the cut, here they are :-


 

On the way down ... and don't forget, we had to come back up again!

Yes, Jiffy and I went in paddling

... He then tried drying himself!!

Then it was time to walk back up the hill - the only problem being is the boys wanted to chase Jiffy, who has to always be on a lead ... so guess who had to kill herself as well!  There are no oxygen cylenders on that hill!!!!!

Its not suprising that the picture of Jiffy yeaterday showed him fast asleep ... he had also spent time playing in the garden with the 4 boys!

He's always on an extending lead - but it was interesting watching him work out how to get up or down if it was too big a jump - Jiffy-Heaven

You need to borrow your nephews or other children to entertain Jiffy and tire him out. He's a West Highland Terrier, isn't he? They have a ton of energy.

Yes, he's a Westie. My parents had always had spaniels and when they got him, they wanted something smaller -a nd as they look solid, they thought he would be quiet!!!!

He is adorable - and just loves visits form me at weekends, and especially the boys when they go to Mum and Dads! Mind you, he is very good with (and for) them!

Wonderful photos of the whole family. That's a long walk - is how much of an incline is it?
Jiffy looks much thinner when he's wet but he looks like he's having such a fun time.

Yes - parts of the track were wider - but steeper!!!

When Jiffy is wet you see how much is doggy ... and how much is fluff!!! He had fun!

I have to put up some pics of our little trip to the Oregon coast. Our dog, Kelsey, loves to romp in the surf and then roll around in the sand.

LOL - yes, it is funny watching Jiffy trying to dy himself on wet sand! He just rubbed ... and wagged! He hasn't worked out swimming yet - so only 1/2 wet dog!
