Eternal Refuge

I knew that a lot of my friends would be seeing James last Saturday - and I was supremily jealous, but consoled myself that I would be seeing him at the end of the week and instead I could be celebrating with Toni's daughter - her engagement.

well, it wasn't to be - I collapsed Friday evening with some 36hour bug - so spent the 2 days in bed, feeling rough.

So I missed seeing Stacey and John celebrate ... but at least it wasn't seeing James that I missed ... I must wrap myself in a cover so I don't catch anything ... injury anything .... or ..... before Friday!

Hope all those who were at The Rift had a great time - I am off to catch up with my f-list and to see if I can find any reports ... so if you know of anything can you point me that way.

 

When The Rift was first announced I made the sad decision that I could not afford to go.

Over the last few weeks I have watched as the day has grown and spread rapidly - and I am amazed with how much Steve has been able to organise for the day.  I hope that all of you who are going will have a really great day - and I am truly jealous of you all.

As it turns out, Toni's daughter Stacey is having her engagement part that night (in Basingstoke) for those who don't live in England the distance is a reasonable drive!!  But as her honourary "Aunt" I can't not be there - so at least that will help me take my mind off the rest of you who can spend time with James and others from Torchwood.

Hope that James had a good time at this weekend - haven't found the revues yet - and hope that in this coming week he will be able to spend some time relaxing - and catching up with his kids after his hectic film schedule.
