Eternal Refuge

I had a lovely Christmas Day ... and Santa certainly was generous.  Hope that you all had a lovely day, as well

Yesterday I went to Nick & Brenda's, but only saw them (&the dog), but it was a nice day - lunch and then a walk.   Sadly it was foggy off and on all day, so the journey wasn't as great.  But I enjoyed the day - and got home in time to start on one of my many new jigsaws.

Today I had a fairly lazy morning, although packed away Christmas pressies ... so at least my lounge doesn't look as if it's a reject from a jumble sale! Then after lunch I had a short walk ... the theory is that I am going to do that each day (watch this space to see if it happens!!)

Now I have icons to share, that I have been working on over this last month.

25. It’s Christmas Day – what’s for lunch?
I went traditional – chicken (rather than turkey) a pig-in-blanket, stuffing, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots, brussels & gravy … followed by a mince pie.

26. In the UK it’s Boxing Day – does anything special happen where you live today?
On Boxing Day, if I am not working, I go to lunch at Nick & Brenda’s

27. In 1904 “Peter Pan” was first staged in London – have you ever seen it on stage or in a film version?
No – and No

Challenge #134 - Romance TV Show

When I saw the latest genre I did wonder what I could do, so followed the link and there was a great memory, which I now need to re-watch! The Vampire Diaries -

This set of icons I have finished ... when I should have been writing Christmas cards! They are made for round 13 of history20in20 and this month there is a special Fairy Tale theme .... so I chose Sleeping Beauty, as I had just watched it, and loved it (again!) ... I especially loved Sampson, he so reminded me of my 15 years of riding.
