As I said, Claire and I enjoyed looking at the Art Deco costumes at Killerton House ... Some truly beautiful stuff.

The house has a huge collection, and every year they swap the display around. Last year it was "children". The first time I went it was equine related.

Oh they are all lovely - but I think my favourite is the red and black one that reminds me of lava - beside the black one with the flowers.

Those were my 2 favourites as well.

Actually the "lava" is an over-dress. So you could wear the black dress during the day, and then make it into a party outfit easily

I didn't know that!! And, what a surprise, but they didn't actually say that on the National Trust display board!!
