Good Thing I Don't Have An Other-Half At Home!

debris4spikeYesterday when I got home from work, I came with a large bunch of roses ... they are truly stunning.
One of the many visitors to the hospital had driven a couple of hours to visit his mother to find she was on a respiratory ward, so no flowers were allowed. So he gave them to me ... I said for him to take them home to enjoy, but he said he would prefer to give them to someone ... so, yes, I walked into the house with a beautiful bunch of flowers.
Overall it was a good day as I had met up with Toni & Pete in the morning for coffee (tea for me), and cake (none for me) ... it had been Pete's birthday last week, so I treated them to that, as well as giving him his birthday gift. A lovely morning.
Again I am back at work later, so am trying to catch up with things at the moment.

29. Do you like mustard? What type, and what do you put it on?
No … although add some to a cheese scone mixture to enhance the cheese flavour during baking.
30. It’s the International Day of the Potato! What is your favourite way to eat potatoes?
Again, I love potatoes … especially proper chips. I am not a great fan of mash. Though.

I do like potatoes just about any way but in fries and potato chips best. But baked, roasted, etc too!
