8 Lost Icons

I do like to cause myself problems with my icon making, don't I?  I joined retro_icontest  a few months back, but this is the first set I have made.  The problem is that they are all specific to the series "Lost", which I never watched.  So maybe I should now!  we had to just use 2 screencaps, so I have posted those as well, for my own reference, if nothing else.

Wow, cool! And you did the *hard* mode, really going with Lost as a fandom. Kudos! It's a cool show, from what I hear, I haven't watched it (yet), either.

(generally, the fandom restrictions of the source comms don't apply in retro_icontest. if you feel like doing a second set for another fandom, you still have almost a month. <3 )

Actually #8 was one of the ones I was very unsure about!

Hee - I miss-read the challenge thinking it had to be "Lost" ... but maybe that gave me the opportunity to have a go at the new challenges.

Yes, I might try then with Star Trek Voyager, as it's a favourite show, and they were certainly "lost"

For me, #8 is the hardest theme. You did great with the lighting and relative coloring of the caps, and I especially like the off-center crop.

I think I might resort to levels in my own set. (I haven't even chosen the second cap yet, I'll have to see where it leads me. :D)

These all look really good!! This is coming from someone else who has never seen Lost, but I think you incorporated all the themes well + my vaguely knowledge of the show XD I especially like how you used the texture on number 4 :D

That #4 texture was my favourite of the set, as well.

I did enjoy the challenge, and am actually about to post a second set!!
