I hadn't decided if I would do Snowflake Challenge this year, but think I will dip in and out as I fancy questions (or not!).

Challenge #1

Update your fandom information. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I haven't really updated my profile page, as things don't really change much in my life.

I still love making icons, and I suppose that is my main contribution to fandom.

I also love reading fan-fics, and use AO3 ... but try to leave Kudos or a comment on many of the works.

I have written, in the past, and keep aiming to get back to it.

My fandoms are -

Blakes 7 = Avon - Cally
BtVS = Buffy - Spike
Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman = Dr Mike - Sully
Dresden Files = Harry - Karrin
M*A*S*H (the series) = Hawkeye - Margaret
Stargate Atlantis = John - Elizabeth
Stargate SG1 = Jack - Sam
Star Trek Voyager = Katherine - Chakotay

There are a few other things I did into from time to time, but nothing has really grabbed me like those shows & pairings.

Hi there fellow MASH fan! Although you might be able to see from my icon I tend to pair BJ/Hawkeye, I have a soft spot for Hawkeye and Margaret. It's really a shame the broader fandom's moved in another direction. But then again, there's fifty-something years of fic backlog to get through (and more if I have anything to say about it!)

I think if I had paired Hawkeye with anyone else it would probably have been Trapper - they would both have had "fun" with no long-term strings. I think BJ came with more long-term baggage.

But, yes, there are still a lot of fics out there

Yes, but see the baggage is what I enjoy! Although I guess I just want Hawkeye to find a partner in someone – he's been so unlucky in love.

That's why I think he would be good with Margaret as she want to be with someone, so I think they could work out their problems given a chance.

Although I did add something to my Day 3 answer!
