Sorry, But I Am Off Again ...

I am going up to Northamptonshire to visit my "Aunt" ... Mum's best friend. I am spending the day with her, so it is a very hectic couple of days, but she is great fun, so I am looking forward to the trip.
This morning I met up with someone I have known all my life. Her parents got married about a year after mine (in fact, Mum & Dad went to the weding. We now both live this way and try and catch up every so often ... we went to a National Trust property, the one I went to with Claire a month ago. However it was good to see the garden with some Spring colour, as well as a brief walk through the house -
So, let's get ahead with the questions, as I won't be back here until Thursday -
16. In 1822 Rosa Bonheur - artist was born. She specialised in painting animals some of which you can see here. Have you ever tried to draw an animal?
With Toni's help, on the 10th anniversary of Jaykub's death I did a pastel drawing of him ... but I think it was more her than me in so many ways.
17. St Patrick's Day - are there big celebrations of the Patron Saint of Ireland where you live? Do you take part?
Nothing really happens here ... and, no, haven't done any
18. Global Recycling Day - is it easy to recycle items like plastic, metal, glass and paper where you live?
Yes, fortnightly collection ... in a wheelie bin, so we don't even have to sort things
19. International Read to Me Day - did you have family members read to you when you were small? Have you ever had to read aloud to a large number of people?
Mum & Dad used to.
I have read the Bible aloud during Church services
20. National Ravioli Day - do you enjoy Ravioli? What's your favourite flavour combination?
Never had it! (Which I realise is slightly odd!!
