As so we get to Maundy Thursday again ... the time when Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with His disciples.  In the post I have done already today the Church had an amazing plaster representation -
Lanhydrock Church (3)

This year King Charles is going to York Minster to give out the Maundy Money ... with 74 men, and 74 women being given the offerings.

I have been to Pilates, and tried not to tie myself in knots, and mostly managed!  Now I'm here, but working later ... and then have a lazy evening planned.

I do want to get a few icons made though before all that so -

6 – Plan your epitaph day: what message would you like your headstone to send out to the future?

Haven't although I have decided what hymns I want. I know I want the phrase "called home" rather than died ... but maybe it's something I need to think about.

Right, let's get on x

That is a wonderful plaster scene - and more realistic than most as they aren't all sitting behind the table like an intimidating interview panel!

I was at church last night. The quiet, contemplative, service with a simple communion at that part of the story of the day and night, is one of my favourites of the year.
