My Day Off Is Going Well - So Far!

debris4spikeWashing is haanging up ... I am lucky that I live in a 3 story house, so that means I can hang the washing from the banisters going up to that floor ... washing dries and airs through fairly quickly ... so, by this afternoon I shall be able to get ironed ... so I won't look like a Chinese Laundry for too long!
I also have a ginger cake in the oven ... and have brought my timer upstairs, as last time I made a cake a forgot that, and it ended up a lot drier than planned.
I aim to get another cupboard sorted in my bedroom, and hopefully in my kitchen as well. Another task to do soon is to sort out my driving licence. I had thought that it only had to be renewed when I was 70 (and I am not that, honest!). But I used it for ID last week only to find it has been out of date for a year ... so I need to get it sorted. When I went to the opticians last week I got the photos done, so I need to get it sorted out.
And, of course, there are icons to make if I get any other spare time! (Not to forget I need to phone Auntie Joyce and see how she is).
Right, let's get on ...
18 – Thesaurus Day: Do you own a thesaurus? How often do you consult a thesaurus to find just the right word?
Yes - and yes. When I am re-reading some of my own fan fics I do see if there are any repetative words in paragraphs, and see if I can change them.
19 – Popcorn Day: Do you like popcorn? What is your favourite topping for popcorn? Or do you prefer it plain?
Not a great fan ... but as I'm allergic to butter, I just have to go with salt (and, yes, I actually like salty flavours)
I realise I need to make myself something baking when I am doing icons at some point
