... but I have just got back from collecting my prescription. I have been taking Thyroxine for about 10 years, and todays boxes are a lot bigger than the normal ones. Just a small piece of cardboard, I know, but multiply that by many thousands ... and that is a lot of extra paper.

Oh well - at least I have the treament I need, so on a scale of one to ten, that's the important fact ... thank you NHS

My pharmacy used to put one of my prescriptions (Trulicity, which is a subcutaneous injection, 4 pens to a box) in a big zipper style baggie and I always threw them out - what a waste! And then I realized they were the perfect size for most of my cross-stitch projects, so I kept (and used) the next one. And then they quit doing it! At least for 2 months, but this month I got a new baggie. At least it's not going to waste.

Oh yes, a few of the packages can be re-used, but just increasing the size of a cardboard box seems a bit pointless
