Sorry I was absent yesterday we had a really weird clinic, and for the life of me I don't know why it was so full on, as they were very nice people .... however after lunch I had to walk to buy Claire's birthday pressie and when I came home I was totally wiped out again. So frustrating, but looks like this is me at present ... I am well enough to work a bit, to cook etc ... so I am going to try and accept and move on

Moan over!

Anyway, as it's Friday here are some photos .... I walked to Tim & Claire's this morning (they live a bit over a mile away, and saw Claire to wish her a Happy Birthday (for Monday). I also saw Tim as he is working from home, so popped out to say Hi between phone calls. So that was nice. Anyway - here are some pictures of the walk

As you can see I did get splattered on a bit, not enough to annoy as the view was stunning -

This is the view standing in their front garden - stunning (Sorry no view of the birthday girl as she was in the process of colouring her hair!)

This is Heavitree Church (which is the district of Exeter they live in) ... The expanding population necessitated the rebuilding of the small medieval church and the church of St Michael and All Angels was built in 1844–46 to the design of architect David Mackintosh. Its most imposing feature is the west tower, built in 1890 to the design of E. Harbottle. In 2002, a yew tree in the churchyard was included among the "50 Great British Trees" to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. However, it is unlikely that this is the actual tree from which Heavitree gets its name. (Sorry I forgot to photograph the tree, so will have to do that another day)

The prompt this week on [livejournal.com profile] photoscavenger (actually my idea, but then I couldn't think what to photograph till I saw this again) is ODD, but then I saw this celebration arch they have built up the road from it near the shops .... and, no, even close up you can't read that central glass panel ... very ODD -

And, no, you can't read the central panel
