... My bar of chocolate that I have just eaten!!

Well I have had dinner, and done a 3 mile walk at a brisk pace, and after a long clinic session I decided the only answer was to eat chocolate!  So work + exercise eliminated those extra calories!

Hope you are all having as fun an afternoon as I have done so far!

Well, while on-line I will catch up with the meme ...

13. What would you miss if you stopped using your smartphone for 48 hours?
LOL - a) I don't have a smartphone, and b) there isn't web site I go to every time I turn on my computer (well except for LJ, of course!!).So, no, it doesn't even worry me if my phone isn't even charged up, as there is no one who I "need" to be in contact with.

Right, now I must look and see what today's Snowflake is

I think most times chocolate, no matter in what form, has more important uses than being counted as sweet/sugar/calorie intake or so! LOL I remember when my GP told me I should have one slice each day for some important nutrients during my vegetarian years - mainly copper, but also something else, I think. (We usually have 100g tablets in Germany with pre-marked rows and squares, and eating one row at a time is a common unit. You could eat just a piece, but then you can also not eat chocolate at all, so where's the point. *ggg* )

I'm always a bit amused that so many people assume smartphones are used for texts/chat/social media only, or predominantly. ;o) I was late in starting to use one, and one of the main reasons to switch from a regular mobile to a smartphone was also the one I mostly use it for: as a music player - the other reason is as a replacement for our compact camera which had broken at that time (I mainly photograph with my SLR but don't always have it ready or with me, and have always had a small compact camera with me for that purpose). I do have (some) social media on it which I use, but mostly on the computer anyway; and being able to check for emails without having to power up the computer is quite comfortable, too. But if I had to go for 48 hours without, what I'd really miss was the ability to listen to music where I want to and not only where the CD-player is; listen to my audio books, and have my shopping- and ToDo-lists handy. Other things I'm using it for daily but not exclusively is my daily or twice-daily language lessons, alarm clock, taking pictures, sometimes also writing (by way of bluetooh keyboard), having my knitting/crochet patterns available, reading or listening to our weekly newspaper subscription. I might even use the kindle app in case I don't have my kindle with me also. ^^
But I definitely wouldn't miss it for keeping in touch socially with others or using the internet, although I find it quite handy to being able to use wikipedia also on the go. *g*
