A Final Farewell ... To 2019

As I type this I am watching The Longest Day on TV ... I have seen it loads of times, including once while on a coach touring those beaches last Spring.  It is a special film and a good way to finia=sh the year of the 75th anniversary.

I have already posted my photo a year for the decade, but didn't post anything over Christmas ... so thought I would here.  I had a great Christmas Day.  After Church, dinner, and a walk it was time to see what Santa had brought us both.  Yes, we had a fun day.  Boxing Day had nme driving to Nick & family.  It was a good time, although the journey nome was horrific ... terrential rain (although reading of the fires in Australia maybe I shouldn't moan).  Then on the 27th I had Tim & Claire come in the evening ... a lovely time.

However, since then I have actually spent most of the time asleep.  I have seen the doctor, but as it's "only" viral theres nothing I can do but rest.  He thinks it may be at least a couple of weeks .... but let's see if I can beat the doctor!
