I am not seeing DJ this morning, as I have to speak to the farrier later, so I am spending some tiime sorting out files - but in RL and on my pc ... Hope tp get the pics of graveyards done later, btw.

Anyway, I don't celebrate Hallowean, but know most of you do, and just wanted to share this pic with you, that someone sent me last year. I am sure you have all seen it already, but is still good fun.

Hope your day is warmer than mine - and you are all keeping safe (those in Britain who have icy roads which came a s a shock!)


I think even I would donate to these trick-or-treaters!

Pic scam - Local Cemetaries.

Some weeks ago, when I asked for ideas of what to take photos of, pfeifferpackand dragonflylady77both suggested that I take photos of graves. At long last I get round to posting them!

It ha ended up as a 2 part post - this one is of general views of Churchyards - we have 3 Parish Churches in Bude, and so there are a couple of pictures from each

New Shoes Again.

Yes, a couple of months has gone by and his feet need trimming, as well as the clenches being raised - Both are signs of the need for a farrier.

Ian was coming to do Badger this afternoon, so he did DJ as well.

DJ wore his boots to support the legs and protect the skin - but decided once they were on, none of his leg joints would bend at all ... For those who have ever seen "The Woodentops", Ian said he was doing a "Spotty Dog" impersination! And, sadly he was correct!

Still Ian was good at taking care when working on his bad leg, and trying not to spend too long working on it's diagonal.

So - he now has a new set of shoes, and wlked out with a spring in his step, as he realised he was going back to his field with Conrad ... Once there, he took off across the field to go and play - Great to warm him up, but I dread to think how bad his legs will now be!
