Looks as if panic is un-necessary.

As I said yesterday I only wanted to do the DW "in case" - LJ is my home.

However the cynical side of me does wonder if they are slightly adding/changing their ideas when they saw the general outcry.

I love LJ as my home - glad it looks as if I get to stay here.

Although by doing a DW account means I can now keep in touch with one or two friends that have permently defected, as DW has never liked me doing the open ID commenting. 

So, double good news (I hope!)

I hadn't seen the *deleting accounts* issue that I'm now hearing a bit about. I only heard about the friends page and the scrolling thing. I dislike the friends page totally. I like reading in my own style or the style of the journal I'm reading. I hate the blue and white page they want all of us to end up having. I tried that a while back and really disliked it.

The scrolling thing I never experienced because I'm not on Tumblr. I think that's the way it spelled. LOL! I'm not up to date on stuff like that. I did hear it froze the browser for many so they are not pleased with that change.

I think LJ realized they over stepped and backed up on parts of this. I bet the changes would save them money somehow. They just didn't want to say that so they pushed the changes and to heck with our wishes.

I'm keeping my DW and waiting to see what LJ does next. Too often LJ goes wonky so I end up posting on DW to contact my flist.

I hate the scrolling as I see it on FaceBook ... same with that bland colour scheme.

That was one of the arguments I said in my complaint - I love LJ as I have set mine up ... and love looking at other friends varieties, as well.

It would be nice to think they do actually listen to us.

Hopefully it will be bearable. And we need to keep nagging about the new F-List. Who knows, maybe it helps. They took the X-Posting back. But not the user info page.

Hopefully it will all end up as a panic, that turns out to be nothing. I think there has been a general outcry.

I hate the general f-list look and really don't want that to arrive.

I love LJ - always have. I just suddenly realised that many of my friends have gone to DW ... and many were thinking of it. So decided to set it up ... "in case" ... But I am here to stay.
