I know I am meant to be actually cleaning, but thought I would scan ina  few pics ... these are all taken of me before the age of 11.  Looking at the school pics it reminds me how much the bullying has really affected me - I hate having my picture taken, but here in these pictures I look relaxed.

What lovely photos. Sadly, I don't have any when I was younger. We moved so many times that everything got lost.

Looking forward to more.

School uniforms at such a young age. We never wore uniforms where I grew up. Now it's at most schools here. they have to wear polo shirts with slacks that are black or tan. That last photo looks so Harry Potter with the little tie. You were a cutie.

In the family photo, your Dad looks like your brothers. Such a good looking family. That's some wild wallpaper in that photo. My grandmother had wallpaper back then, but it was small print. My mom never cared for wallpaper much. I do remember a swan print in the bathroom when I was younger.

In high school, they made us kneel on the floor. If our skirt was more than six inches from the floor, we had to go home and change. We couldn't wear slacks until my senior year. No jeans or shorts. If it was really cold (seldom in TX) we could wear slacks under our dresses to cover our legs.

We had what was called sheet rock walls that we painted. My mom only had white walls in our house. In the seventies, wood paneled walls were popular.

Weren't you just the cutest little thing? It's fun to share old pictures it's it?

It's a good thing you are scanning those pics, because some of them (especially the first two) are starting to show their age. Now they won't age any further. :D

worse are all my college ones, as they were in colour and are now very red. Were they taken in 1976/77? If they were, they turned red because in 1976 Kodak changed their forumula. It was a huge mess and they changed it back the following year. (It's not widely known to the general public but proffesional photographers know all about it.)

Weirdly I was already wearing glasses by now, so why I didn't wear them in the picture, I don't know.

They told you to take them off - because otherwise the flash caught them and all you got were two white blobs where your eyes should be. (They once forgot to tell my sister to do it and gave Mum the pictures for free because they felt they couldn't charge her for them.)

Ace pictures, by the way!

There are people on LJ reading if not posting. Your photos flushed them out. I particularly like the picture taken at your grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary.

Absolutely adorable! You look like your Mum. As for the glasses, most of us who worre them when we were younger never wore them for pictures. I know I didn't. Besides, usually the flash would reflect off the lenses.
