My brother Tim went for a walk this weekend as well, the weather was so lovely ... and while out he decided to do some art work on the beach ...

Yes - we get a lot of stony beaches in parts of Britain ... this is a few miles from where they live in South Devon (about 25 miles from M&D ... who have sand)

The rocks are so rounded but small. Did you find the larger rocks close by?

The larger rocks would have been higher up the beach, away from the water line - the more they get immersed by tides, the smaller they get.

Ohhhh, so cool. Love the pretty stones. The beaches here usually only have sand and maybe shells no pretty stones.

Both where I live, and where M&D are it is sandy with rocks ... stony beaches are lovely ... unless you want to walk across them!

Wow, a whole beach of rocks! We don't see that on our side of the Atlantic! At least not the beaches I go to. :P

Mum and Dad live about 15 miles from here - and have sand! We don't get rocks on our coast - as we face the Atlantic, as well ... but the South Coast has less tides, calmer weather.

They look stunning - but I walked across one last month ... and they are a great "work-out" for the ankle joints! Sand is more fun, that way!
