Mum and I went to the shops this afternoon, and when we got back, we had a cuppa in the garden.

Jiffy looks a bit tuckered out under the table. Makes me miss my mom. Happy you get to be with your parents so often.

It makes me feel both guilty and lucky that my parents are still alive and well - and that I have a good relationship with them.

Jiffy is in a favourite place - he can watch the bird feeder, and the bird bath from there .... he's in the shade, and can see whn I have almost finished my tea so he can snag the last mouthful!!

Oh, don't feel guilty. Feel blessed. Savor each and ever moment with them and stock it away in memories. I wish my relationship with my mom was the type where I could have really talked to her. She didn't want to know the ends and outs of my life. She would shut down if I tried to talk about anything she didn't want to hear.
