A Major Crisis!!!

Thats what happened this morning.

First of all I proved how ill I really must be as I gave my bathroom a good clean!

Then ... cup of tea called!

I was running low on milk - so a 3 minute stroll to the local supermarket was next ... and that is when disaster struck

NO MILK

Grgggaaaaggggghhh

Still, I got the car out drove to the next nearest and managed to fight my way to the dwindling supplies - so hopefully the snow will have thawed over Dartmoor before I need the next lot.  Most things in life I can cope without - but a cup of tea (and news of James) are 2 things that are necessary!!!!!

There was quite a bit on the news last night about local shops being very low in stock.

I do drink black coffee as well, but need milk for my tea ... And, as anyone who knows me, I need regular doses!!

I should have bought another pint and put in the freezer ... mild panic, check outdoors ... it's slightly warmer to day!

When I knew that we might be in for a fair bit of snow I stocked up some extra milk in the freezer, Hubby brought some home from work yesterday as he was driving past the supermarket, so I haven't needed to get any out of the freezer yet.

No way could I miss my tea either :)

Because it isn't actually snowy here I had forgotten, even though I know I couldn't get to Mum and Dad, it hadn't occured to me that milk wouldn't be able to get to me!!!

Disaster! I drink milkless tea but I thin there'd be a riot if people couldn't have cereal.

I keep a carton of UHT stuff in the cupboard. Not as good as fresh, but better than none!

Great idea ... unless like me the only milk you can drink is full fat!!! Life without tea is not worth thinking about!
