Another Update!

For those who saw my post earlier today here you will know I have had problems breathing again.

So - back to the doctor - and more blood tests are ordered ... They won't be done till Wednesday, and I think my GP is running out of ideas!

I have also decided to tell the conductor, that if he can get another clarinettist for Saturday, then could he - if not, I will not play at the rehearsal, but will play for about 3/4 of the concert.  I had wanted to do this concert, as well - so that is annoying.  However, it is stupid to try to play for that much when I am having problems breathing just sitting here typing!

Shame about the concert, but it's probably better for you not to over exert yourself.

If this doctor can't find out what's wrong I think you need to get a second opinion from somewhere.

My GP has been great - 25 blood tests, X-rays, ECG ... and spoken to a specialist ... so it will probably just turn out to be "Debris"!!

Still I must bear in mind - the good news is that there is nothing serious at all.

It is odd that the blood tests and other tests aren't showing up anything, hopefully something will show up eventually because there's obviously something wrong or you wouldn't be breathless.

My GP has done so many tests - and is great in that he is admitting he is stumped - Still, at least it is nothing major.

PLEASE keep on your doctors until they find out what is wrong! Breathing is too tricky with asthma as is without an unknown! {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}} I tend to panic when I have the odd really really bad asthma attacks even having had it my entire life....I cannot imagine having other issues that are unknown! I'd be frightened beyond the telling.

Really hope they find the answer soon, hon, I'm praying for you.

You made me cry again! Thanks Kathleen - you are lovely. My doctor is doing every test and being very open - so at least I know that it is nothing serious.

Have they tested for food allergies?

No - that's one thing not done this time, so far - but I haven't changed anything in my diet over the last year(s) ... so I suppose that is why the doctor hasn't gone down that line, he did ask about it.

All of my food allergies are of foods that I've eaten all my life. For instance, one day I can eat apples, then the next day (and years after) I'm allergic to them. None of the allergies cause rashes or anything on me, they just cause breathing problems.
