Eternal Refuge

This week at work one of the patients I saw had night terrors about choking on cats. I was telling my boss, so that if she needed further treatment she could be referred on if needed. However it reminded me of a song I know, that I learnt as a kid.

I asked my boss that, and although he comes from New Zealand and is younger than me, he knew it. However the rest of the group are Portugese and Filipino ... they didn't know it.

Anyway when I got home I had to hear it - aand thought I would share it!

I admit it.  However having heard this Soprano I have decided I sing like an angel.

I was born in 1961, and in those days comedy songs were quite popular.  For many reading this, the singer of this song will only be known as Donna's father, Wilf, in Dr Who (Dr 10) .... but Bernard Cribbins has had a long carreer.  In 1962 he recorded Right Said Fred, and I grew up knowing it - and smiling along.  For those who don't know it, I have 2 versions ....
