Eternal Refuge

I start with this post of 20 icons, for characters20in20  all from the film
High Plains Invaders which is a film starring James Marsters ... so, yes, one I certainly had to watch!

I obviously wished too hard for learning work containing text, as this was another challenge in this set. We had to use at least 3 words from a song. In this case my choice of song was easy (and, no, I didn't know the challenge before I picked this film). James wrote and sang a song A Cappella about the back story of the film (and the words are below). For those who don't know the film, but worry about a couple of the scenes, the 2 of them do end up with a "happy" ending.

There is only one album that I would like to see being produced, and the last I read (at one of the Q&As earlier in the summer) is that it is on hold.  I am upset that James doesn't feel able, for whatever reason, to produce the album, as he had said that it would be accoustic - maybe just using Sullivan on some of the tracks as well.

Yes, you guessed it, it's a the 3rd Album by James Marsters that I'm waiting for - thus I get to post 2 songs!  My second favourite song is Fall Of Night, and I had hoped this would be on his proposed CD. 




James sang a new song about his then upcoming movie "High Plains Invaders" @ the 100 club in London, UK, on May 3rd, 2009 ... I love this song, but also that he sang it without accompaniment.  I wasn't at the gig, but had text messages as it finished to tell me what a treat I had missed.

If there are any of you there that are not already aware of it - James has a new film role.

As it is a western, then it is presumed he will have to ride a horse.  So, now I think it is time to suggest that DJ and I can be very useful - I am willing to teach him all I know!!

However - just want to Squeee for him - and hopes that he has both a safe and and enjoyable time in filming, and that we will all get to see the film soon.
