Eternal Refuge

Well, yesterday was a good day at work ... although as I said in the title very depressing!

The morning was the normal urology clinic and 3 of the 4 who turned up were men who had prostate problems. When I was younger this always just used to be called "old man's complaint" ... but all of the 3 were younger than me! Then I remembered that the first time dad had "that" surgery he was 2 years younger than I am now. So a good clinic but slightly depressing.

Then in the afternoon and evening I was on the main reception/enquirery desk. Of the many people who asked where there appointments were turned out to be 2 people who asked about their appointment for "Healthcare for Older People" ... and again, both these 2 were younger than me!

So, as I said, I am now officially old according to the hospital!

No wonder I didn't manage to get back to everyone as I said I would. I will try better later. However today I want to get some housework done - after a weekend away, then a few busy day at work, I need to do some housework, baking, etc. I also want to make a few icons as I need to post them soon.

But, as ever being a weekend, there are 2 questions -



5. What do you imagine people see when they look at you?
Personality wise probably someone slightly zany
(Looks wise - I won't go there as it's something I can never deal with.)

6. Are there any bridges you don't regret burning?
I have no regrets about anything in my life ... and a lot of people presumed I would miss giving up being an osteopath but I truly don't.
