A Christmas Outing

As I said yesterday I suffered for my day out on Thursday ... but it was certainly worth it.

I wernt with Christine to the local National Trust Property, Killerton House, which was sorted for Christmas ... and showing the Red Dress








There were a few games for the "kiddies" to play with!


Our first stop was The Chapel

Yes, it was a good day ... but nice to rest the leg

That's an amazing dress. What's the story behind it? I think I like your (new?) haircut! As a fellow limper, I can empathize with the day after walking a lot syndrome.

I couldn't work out how it started, but the artist took it to various groups around the world ... refugees, abuse victims, displaced ladies ... so to show that ladies around the world can be supported ... as many of them were linked to art groups, and were then supported to set up craft groups with other ladies, usually to seel the items.

I like short hair ... but yes, it was quite a bit shorter this time.

That urn is brilliant - usually its a bit more "buried" in nearby foliage ... so nice to see it clearly on this visit.
