Bank Holiday Trip 2
Monday, September 1st, 2025 11:32 amFor the second part of my Bank Holiday Christine and I went to Agatha Christie's holiday home -

The River Dart

I love this over-mantle that was purchased as is for the house (it is 16th century)

The frieze around the library was painted by the American forces, when they were billeted here in WWII. It follows the history of their service during the war.

Agatha's bedroom ... her husband always slept on his camp bed.

A first edition of each of her books ... as well as a signed script of "Dead Man's Folly" that was filmed here.
