As Ever Things Change ...

But this time it was for the best!

I was asked to work a full day on Saturday rather than the normal 6 hours that I was scheduled to do.  However that meant I was over the working directive hours, so my Monday was cancelled.  I contacted Christine on the off-chance she was free, and she was.  Add to that a Bank Holiday with amazing weather ... and I had a super day out yesterday, and yes, photos to come!!

However the rest of the last few days have been very "long".  I have never known such a slow weekend as we have just had.  Some people like slow days at work, but for me the days go so slowly.  I stay positive by thinking that I am actually getting paid to read!  And, on Sunday I watched the whole episode of LegoMasters without being interrupted once (that will tell you how non-busy I was).

Now it's back to "normal.  So off to work later.  I have an optician's appointment tomorrow morning, so -

No

No. The only way I will eat a banana is if it is very under-ripe.

I have one I regret getting. I actually hate tattoos. Toooo many have them these days.

Me too! I dont care for bananas...they have to have a greenish peel for me to even think about eating.

There's a lady at work who wears lovely summer dresses, very pretty ... until you look at her legs. A lot of random tattoos. It really doesn't look good, at all.

Definitely not. I have seen the faded stretched out ones. But to each their own. Jusr don't count me in!

Hurrah for an unexpected Monday off to do something nice :)

And I know, from my days volunteering in the churches' bookshop, that it is nice to have time to sit and read - but no customers for over an hour begin to make the time drag.

Oh yes ... you look at the clock, and an hour later, but the minute hand has only moved a short way. How can people like a slow day at work?
