That’s what the last week was … so things like LJ had to be put on hold for the time. I just wish I could log in at work, as it would make life easier … I could keep up with you all.

I had hoped to get started on the A to Z photos again, but even that was not a success … and I think I am 2 months behind with photo_scavenger as well. So, all in all even the camera has been lazy, which really shows how “non” I have been.

Over the weekend I worked, but did actually wake up earlier, and even had a short walk both days. I have to admit that I didn’t make it to Church though as our service is early, and I wasn’t going to push my recovery.

The family are all keeping well, so that’s good.

Work has been pretty good – although the “madness” of the previous week seemed to continue. Luckily most of the people I work with continue to be “nice”, so that certainly helps, as we can all laugh about it together.

The funny thing is, that one of the ladies I only occasionally work with, is someone I find hard to get on well with. However, on Saturday, it was the final straw when she called me Debbie … a version of my name I really hate. I don’t actually like my name being shorted, although all the family call me Deb … so I have learned to accept that abbreviation. However, I went to school with a Debbie, and she was a real problem … so, not my choice of name at all.

Rant over!!

Right, I am going to post this … but …

28. Jigsaws were invented in the mid-18th century by a cartographer called John Spilsbury, who thought that mounting a map on wood and cutting it into interlocking shapes would make an informative game for children and students. When was the last time you made a jigsaw (how many pieces did it have)?
I always have a couple on the go … usually 1,000 piece ones. I have done a couple of 3,000 pieces.

29. Do you know anyone who is a twin?
The Church I used to go to there were twins (the same age, exactly, as nephew #3) … Josh & Leah.

30. When was the last time you went to a party?
My brother & sister-in-law’s 35th wedding anniversary in March

31. Have you managed to do any regular exercise this month?
Just some walking … but not long, long distances.

1. We are over halfway through the year – how has it been for you so far?
Pretty fair – nothing really good/bad.

2. Do you like milkshakes? What’s your favourite flavour?
I love, love milk … but haven’t had a milkshake since I was a child.

3. Have you ever played hopscotch?
Yes, loads of time. The last time was about 30 years ago … our friends were over from France, and Mum, Marielouise and I played (Mum won)

4. The artist Laura Knight was born on this day in 1877. She was an artist who worked in oils, watercolours, etching, engraving, and drypoint. Can you draw? Do you doodle?
I used to doodle all the time, but don’t now. I can’t draw at all.
I heard this morning that Spirograph is celebrating 60 years - now that was one art form I really loved doing

I hope I will be around more, but if I am not, then let me apologise in advance.

Hope that you are all keeping well, and enjoying things.

I never thought of Spirograph as an art form, but it really is. Hope you are continuing to improve.

Never got into jigsaws, although the few I did, I put them together pretty fast :)
Yes I had uncles that were twins, my uncle Joe and Uncle Bill :).
Party? What's that?
Always, six days a week.
It has been a good year actually, for me, getting stronger, preparing for next year's competitions.
I love milkshakes but my body is lactose intolerant and well...it isn't pretty. The last time I had one...it wasn't pretty LOL
Yes long ago as a kid, but one time my parents' neighbor kids had a chalk one drawn in and I did it with them LOL

I can draw actually and paint, and at one time, considered an art and design career. I am really good at sketching birds and botanicals.
