Of Course It's The Weekend ...

... The weather has turned overcast and cool!  In fact, you can also tell it will soon be "holiday" time, as apparently the rain is coming in soon!

However this norning I did go out to another local house ... a 16-sided place built in the late 1780's by 2 female cousins after they had done a "grand tour". (Photos to come)

I am not great at taking "me" time, but decided that I was going to be a good girl this morning ... yes, I have loads of housework to do, and that is still on the agenda. But it was nice to actually wander round A La Ronde by meysef, rather than with someone else.

On my way home I picked up a few groceries, and while I was cooking lunch I also made some cheese scones, so that makes me feel better about my laziness this morning.

Now I am going to sort photo, maybe make some icons ... and try and catch up with you all. I feel that I am so far behind at present. I overslept yesterday, so didn't even have time to pop in and say "Hi" ... so ....







11. When was the last time you lit a candle?
Christmas & New Year - it might have only been me, but I did have lit candles on the table, and around in the evening.

12. Do you like playing card games? Which is your favourite?
Yes
It used to be Solo Whist ... but in all honesty I haven't played seriously for ages. I still like playing solitaire with real cards, as well as on the computer.

13. Have you ever made yoghurt or kefir?
No!

My great uncle was the first person to actually play a "proper" game of cards with me ... I was only about 7 or 8 ... Dad loved cards, as well. So a family connection
