Well I managed to get a doctor's appointment this morning - so he has put me on steroids in the hope of getting everything to settle down, and thus while I feel better I can get myself properly on my feet.  He apologised, but as I said to him, at least it is a plan!

I have managed to get most of my cards written now ... I have a couple of letters to write, that I hope I can do later, and then hopefully tomorrow I can get everything posted.  Then I shall feel more relaxed about Christmas (I hope!).

At present I am waiting for a call-back from the car people about getting a new battery.  It's quite bizarre, but after a bit of Googling prices/fitting etc, it is actually cheaper for me to go to Toyota itself.  So they are trying to work out when that can be sorted out - just hope I can get it started when I need to, although my drive is on a slope, I don't fancy doing a start of the car that way.

I still have a few more photos to sort, and want to get some icons made, as well.  So -chr

Oh yes - it was quite a big thing here in the 1970's. I was never really neat enough, but Mum was very good.

Yeah sometimes getting a doctor's appointment is quite difficult.

I get on well with most of the doctors at my practice ... just getting an appointment can be "interesting"!! Luckily I live close so I can walk down to join the queue before the doors open

I didn't need the jump leads in the end - as I ended up getting it fitted at home. hadn't thought of neighbours, though ... just thought I would have to do the rolling start down my drive.

I have tried origami and there were some aunts in the family who made absolutely beautiful ornamental things. In traditional Japanese weddings, a thousand origami cranes are made for the couple/

I hadn't heard that about the cranes - I know they are the sculpture that were we meant to "perfect" ... and that makes sense, now

The steroids have certainly helped a bit, last day today.

Then I have to wait till the end of the week and get blood tests ... unless of course, things get worse again.
