Well yesterday was pretty good .... I walked into Exeter first thing to meet up with Christine and then we went on one of the many guided city walks ... and ended up seeing a few things I didn't even know existed, a couple being on the actual high street (photos to follow)

When I got back I ended up trying to sort some stuff out for a friend of mine ... and battling computer problems, as well. So I never made it here to post.

I still have a few more WWI pics to post ... and now some Exeter ones. So looks like I ought to get on and get them sorted and uploaded .... but until then -

9. In 1504 Michelangelo’s statue of David was unveiled in Florence. Have you ever seen the original or a copy of it?
I have seen the copy that is on display in the main square of Florence (the original is in a building there)

10. Do you know how to use a sewing machine? Do you own one?

I have had one all my life … now I have Mum’s. I keep saying that I want to get back to sewing … one day!!

I did work for a couple of hours this morning ... and will be doing similar tomorrow. So that's helping keeping me out of mischief.

Now all I need is to keep warm, and things are OK!!!

I remember Sewing Class in school (approx. ages 14-15) where I learned all about bobbins and and presser feets and needle plates, oh my. But it's been a looong time since I used any of them!

I enjoyed your photos of Exeter - it's always fascinating to go on a tour of where you live and learn something new, isn't it?
