Just A Catch Up
Thursday, June 27th, 2024 04:43 pmWow, the week is going ... trying to sort out things, as well as one work shift. But, even so, how can it be Thursday today? Somehow a couple of days have disappeared ... so if anyone sees them could they send them back to me, please.
We are actually having some sunshine today ... I am actually hoping for rain off and on as Tim & Claire are away and they have asked me to go and water their garden. So a 2 mile walk every other evening is now on the agenda if the sun stays. Still, the waistline will be happier with me.
I do have a couple of icon challenges I want to work on ... so shall do that for a short time. But, before I do that I will catch up with the questions ....
24. International Fairy Day - when you were small did you believe in fairies (do you still believe?)
What do you mean ... when I was small. I still believe in them ;)
25. Ultra Processed Food (UPF) is making the headlines at the moment - do you know which everyday foods are classed as UPF (here's an article to help you *g*)?
I tend to like to prepare my own food as much as possible ... however I am sure that it's not all perfect, but at least most of the time the diet is OK-ish ... therefore when it falls apart I don't worry too much
26. Have you ever used a supermarket barcode reader or a "Scan and Go" App to pay for your groceries at the self-checkout?
I tend to use the self-checkout's much of the time. Although I invariably need help as the scales usually forget to re-balance, or something.
27. Is there a good bus service close to where you live? Do you use the bus to get around?
There are good buses into the city from all over the city ... although usually only every 1/2 hour. From Exeter there are good services all over the county. When I go to London I always go on National Express, from the city centre. So yes, pretty good service.
Right, let's get on
