Lyvden New Building

I have been to Lyvden many times over the years ... although this time I was also able to visit the re-built, refurbished "old" building.










The orchard ... planted where Sir Thomas had planted one.

As you can see the house has residents these days

Last time I went I was with Jiffy and he was fascinated that he could "peep" in the "ovens"

I had a cuppa before I left, (in the old building), and this model is what the New one should have looked like.

It is stunning - although the good thing is that we get to see as it was designed. I dare say if it had been finished it would have been changed and added to over the years
