What A Lovely Day

I had arranged to meet my friend from work, for a walk ... we have had to alter the date a few times, and today we stuck to it. However, with the bad weather and she had hurt her back we just met up for coffee/tea and a chat instead. Great to catch up ... not as good for the exercise though.

It's quite bright now, but waiting for an engineer about the internet cable, so can't go for a stroll!

Oh well, no excuse not to get some hosework done, though.

Anyway ... here is my drive home -

Shrove Tuesday - will you be having pancakes today? Do you make your own crêpes?
Oh yes - I shall have lemon & sugar tonight (as I remembered to buy a lemon ... otherwise it would have been syrup)

I am a real fan of lemons anyway, but the lemon/sugar is quite traditional over here

I LOVE lemons :)))) We had a lemon tree in the backyard when I was growing up.
