Well, It's Warmer ... But That Means It's Wetter, As Well

At least I managed to get to Church and back yesterday in the dry, and just walked out to post a letter and pick up a couple of groceries in the dry ... so that's a win!

I feel like I am going round in circles ... at least everything (I think) is organised for Auntie Joyce's funeral on Friday.  However I am sure there will be something else crop up that we haven't thought about.  But for all the problems she has, and still continues to, cause she is Dad's sister ... she is family, and that's what's important.

Anyway, I did the photos, so ...

Yesterday, as ever, the first rule of getting back into the house is to make tea, so when I got in from Church -


Today I walked a slightly longer way to the shops, and went via this road.  Jiffy used to like this way, because as you can see, that are lots of assorted routes to choose -




So let's get on.

I am working later today, and tomorrow morning.  Tomorrow I am going to meet up with Toni in the afternoon to wish her a Happy Birthday so ...



22. Have you any snow where you live? When was the last time it snowed in your area?
It doesn't snow much here ... but 5 years ago we had snow ... it was lovely (as I didn't need to drive anywhere).

23. What is your preferred type of writing implement - fountain pen, ballpoint, pencil or something else?
I have a lovely Parker fountain pen that I use to write letters, cards, etc.
If I am using a biro I like a Bic one

I love that tea cosy, :). Oh yes there's snow here. Usually 18 inches per winter season but this year we are far behind. Last year? FAR ABOVE. 23. I prefer a ballpoint.

The tea cosy was one Mum made for herself ... and was well used for all their marriage, and now is well used again
