One of the museums I visited while in London was while I was at Greenwich - The National Maritime Museum

One of the English hero's that has quite a bit of his history here is Admiral Lord Nelson

Nelson's Trafalgar Coat ... the bullet hole is visible on the left shoulder

As the afternoon progressed I walked through Greenwich Park to The Royal Observatory ... to see where time is set from













You get a great view down on the Naval college and accross to the rest of London -

One of my favourite places.

I did an online course about fashion with the lady who was part of the team responsible for preserving Nelson's coat.

The coat is really well displayed in that you can see the bullet hole, but it's not stretched open or anything like that - amazing.

I will admit it's not one of my favourite museums as I have always found it slightly disjointed ... but still great to see anyway.

I've only been to the UK twice, but we spent a lot of time at the observatory on both trips.

It's almost like we're nerds or something. ;)

Hee - I hadn't been there for a few years, as a favourite for me is the v&A ... which I didn't go to this year!
