Holiday to Belfast #3 - Museum & Botanic Gardens
Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 03:25 pmOn the first day I was in Belfast I used the "Hop On Hop Off" bus, and got off at The Botanic Gardens ... lovely. On the edge of the gardens was the Ulster Museum. I will admit it wasn't a great lay-out (from my point of view) as I seemed to see a few things more than once, and missed other things completely ... oh well, here's a taster -

These photos are fantastic. I shall live vicariously through your travels. My folks and I did most of our travels before I turned 21. I am grateful considering how it was so much easier back then.

One of my favorite memories is our trips to San Fransisco, which I never tired of. We had our favorite restaurants. And both my parents love art museums and natural history museums. San Fransisco was great for those! To this day also, I love to visit aquariums and zoos.
I have a degree in history so I also love the history of the places I visit. I mean what's the point of being there and not at least knowing more about it than just the shops and such.
