Day Off = Day Out

Yes, although I have loads of tasks I should be doing I went out for the day.  Christine came up and we exchanged pressies, and then we went to Montacute House (my favourite house).  It is about an hour's drive away, but I do love the place.  They were celebrating Christmas Elizabethan style .. and had a puzzel to solve set up by Mummers ... so riddles to solve.  And, yes, we solved the puzzle.  So a great way to celebrate Christmas ... there will be photos (hopefully tomorrow).

So now I am here and sorting photos, before getting something to eat.  Tonight I plan to watch "Sense & Sensability", as this is one of the houses used.

The house visit with Mummers and a puzzle sounds very fun.

It was a fun challenge ... with the Mummers, everything was in rhyme, so had to work out who was the "baddie"
