Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 02:30 pmAs promised I am going to post some photos that were taken on my birthday. I went to Newton Abbot ... both the museum & the canal ... and Christine bought me lunch ... complete with an Aperol Spritz

The museum is in a converted Church that was de-consecrated some years ago. However they have done an amazing job oof change & renovation

Christine's mum is the lady on the left, seated, in black

This Church tower (which is all that remains of this), is where William of Orange visited and was proclaimed King on his way to London, having landed at Brixham

And, after lunch we had a walk along the canal
