You Do Have To Wonder About Some People!
Friday, June 17th, 2022 02:48 pmYesterday I worked in the morning and some of the afternoon, before heading off to do my annual Resuss training ... we spent a couple of hours getting George-the-dummy to survive a heart attack, and choking!. I headed home and didn't turn on my pc as I was soon due a phone call appt from the Chronic Fatigue people. So I sat and read ... and read a bit more. I then realised that it was about an hour past the time. Anyway this morning before I went to work I needed to send Tim an e-mail, so turned on the pc, only to find an email from my consultant, at the specific appt time, to ask me how things were doing? So, totally odd.
However ona couple of positives I am slowly doing better - I am able to do more shifts without totally collapsing. Of course, I couldn't say that or anything as I didn't get the call as it has been in the past. I still have trouble focussing on hobbies etc, but I am super positive that if I continue to be careful this will also slowly ease back towards normal (well, normal for me!).
On another positive - no maskz for work over the last 2 days. And it certainly has shown how much I struggle with them as I have hardly had to use my inhaler despite working. Not totally absent, but another step on the way of healing.
So, all in all, I am a happy girl.
The shift went well today -and we actually finished about 2 minutes early, so another positive!
In a moment I am due to have a sports massage ... so looking forward to getting nice and relaxed and haiving a lazy evening after that ... but before I go -
16. Is there some event that changed how you view the world?
I suppose anyone who watched 9/11 on the TV has to have been affected by it.
But mainly historical events are how I view the world, and how I see the world developing.
17. Was today typical? Why or why not?
So far, yes
Right I must head out in a few minutes.
See you tomorrow x
