Sorry - I Did Have A Good Reason

debris4spike... yes, I know I haven't been around for a couple of days. However, as I said I was going to work a full day Thursday, which was tiring, but not as bad as I expected. That wasn't the reason, but a late decision on Thursday evning that I would do the 550mile round trip to see Auntie Joyce. As I have said in the past there is a lot of sad/bad family history ... when I have thought about it in the past I have talked myself out of it, so when the thought came last Thursday I went with it. So I went there on Friday, and back on Saturday. I didn't tell her I was going, but took tea and breakfast and slept on the sofa.

It ended up being an OK trip ... and the roads were fairly quiet overall, so although it was tiring I never actually ended up stationary on any of the roads ... yes, I had to slow in a few places, but overall not too bad at all.
So I had a lazy Sunday.
This morning I walked into the city had an haircut, looked at clothes etc for Ana's wedding. It is in Portugal in August, so will be hot, but didn't find anything that I liked.
Now I have had lunch and have ironing to do, as I hung washing out before I headed out this morning!
I do hope that you are all doing OK - I will try and catch up with you all later ... but before I go ...
10. We have no control over where we're from, but do you wish you could have been from somewhere else?
Geographically - possibly as Greater London/Essex borders is not all that special
Parent-wise - no change there
11. What are some things you've had to unlearn?
Can't think of anything
12. New internet rules restrict everyone's free access to email, a search engine, and five sites of their choosing. To access any other site, you have to pay $1 per visit. What sites would you include in your five free sites, and what sites would you be willing to pay to access? (Sites you need to access for work-related purposes would be provided/paid for by your employer.)
