Monday, Monday
Monday, May 23rd, 2022 11:16 am... Yes, I like music of the 60's!
I had a good Sunday, and we mostly had good weather, although it did cloud over in the afternoon, although not enough to mean that I still had to water my garden tubs!
I ended up going to The Salvation Army yesterday morning, as our Church didn't (couldn't) have a service. It is on the main road that is part of the route of The Great West Run, so they were open to provide loos, water etc. So I walked into Exeter.
It was great to sing rousing traditional hymns led by a silver band of 20 musicians. Our Church tends to have mostly modern songs, and played on a PA system ... not the same, at all.
Now I have a Monday off, and I really, really need to get the rest of my photos sorted and then posted here, so I shall get on with that, but before I go -
23. What's the weirdest or rudest thing a guest has done at your house?
I had a friend and kids over not long before lockdown ... when I went to get them a drink the daughter (aged about 8) had taken ornaments off the cabinets, and was looking at them. Not great really, but then she just put them down on the floor.
The funny thing is that even though she tried making friends with Jiffy, he ignored her, which was very, very unusual!!
My friend just said, as I came into the lounge, that I had some interesting stuff.
Needless to say I now have less to do with her than I did.
I will catch up with you all, and comments later - promise x
